AD/CESSNA 170/51 Console Reinforcement and

Fuel Selector Shaft Roll Pin

Applicability: Model 172 with Serial Number 17276260 to 17276303. Requirement:  Action in accordance with Cessna SB No SEB85-3.

Compliance: Prior to issue of Certificate of Airworthiness.

Background: The applicability of this Directive is restricted to 1985 Model 172 Skyhawk series aircraft. Due to manufacturers omissions, it is necessary to install a reinforcement angle to the fuel selector bracket, and ensure that the fuel selector shaft roll pin has been properly secured.
