SCHEDULE OF AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVES

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

For the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below issues the following Airworthiness Directive (AD) under subregulation 39.1 (1) of CAR 1998. The AD requires that the action set out in the requirement section (being action that the delegate considers necessary to correct the unsafe condition) be taken in relation to the aircraft or aeronautical product mentioned in the applicability section: (a) in the circumstances mentioned in the requirement section; and (b) in accordance with the instructions set out in the requirement section; and (c) at the time mentioned in the compliance section.

CAP Aviation (Akrotech and Mudry) CAP 232 Series Aeroplanes

AD/CAP 232/7 Aluminium Control Rods 8/2001

Applicability: CAP 232 aircraft, serial numbers up to and including 023.

Requirement: Action in accordance with the Accomplishment Instructions contained in CAP Aviation Service Bulletin 000107 Revision 1, dated 21 November 2000.

Note 1: The required control rod repair can only be performed by CAP Industrie. Note 2: DGAC AD 2000-143(A) R1 refers.

Compliance: Within 100 hours time in service after 9 August 2001, unless already accomplished.

This Airworthiness Directive becomes effective on 9 August 2001.

Background: The DGAC requires certain actions in order to improve bonding reliability between the control rod tips and aluminium tubes.
