Applicability: All model 47G-2, 47G-2A, 47G-3, 47G-3B, 47G-3B-1, 47G-4, 47G-4A, 47G-5, 47G-
5A, 47J, 47J-2, 47J-2A not modified in accordance with Bell ASB 47-80-6 or Kawasaki-Bell SB KSB-Bell 353.

October 1980.
Background: To reduce the possibility of failure of the tail rotor drive or fan drive within the main gear box, the manufacturer has introduced an improved bearing. This Directive has been amended to include Kawasaki-Bell Helicopters.
