AD/BELL 47/31 Lateral Cyclic Torque Tube Safety Washers 11/61
Applicability: All models.
Requirement: 1. Fit a steel safety washer to each end of the lateral cyclic torque tube on the outer side of the ball bearing.
2. The outside diameter of these washers should be approximately 1 1/2 inches and they should be so shaped as to obviate the possibility of interference with the bearings in all positions of the control. A suitable design of washer is illustrated in Figure 1.

3. Remove the nuts from each end of the torque tube, fit safety washers, replace nuts, torque to 100-110 inch pounds and install split pins.
