AD/BELL 412/6 Main Rotor Pitch Link Assemblies - Replacement 3/83

Applicability: All models.

 

Document: 1. Bell Alert SB 412-82-2, Revision “A” dated June 1982.

 

2. Bell Alert SB 412-82-7 dated December 1982. Compliance: Within 100 hours time in service after 31st March 1983.

Background:  Manufacturer advises that some 412 helicopters were delivered with incorrectly assembled and rigged main rotor pitch link assemblies, requiring immediate inspection and replacement, with a modified pitch link tube and upper rod and bearing assembly.
