AD/BELL 212/33  Main Rotor Grip/Blade Bolt - Inspection and Rework

Applicability: All BHTI reworked grips which have had grip bushing(s) replaced. Requirement:  Bell Alert S.B. No. 212-85-37.

Compliance: Within 100 hours time in service after 31 March 1985 or at the next scheduled inspection for maintenance release issued after 31 March 1985 whichever is the later.

 

Background: There have been reports where an improper clearance was evident between the blade bolt head flange and the grip bushing.
