5/95
Applicability: All models of Bell 206 and Agusta Bell 206 helicopters fitted with crosstubes manufactured by Aeronautical Accessories Incorporated.
Note: Aeronautical Accessories crosstubes can be identified by a serial number stamped on the end of the crosstube as described in Aeronautical Accessories Alert Service Bulletin (ASB) 94045, Appendix A or ASB 94046, Appendix A.

2. For all models:

This amendment is effective from 27 April 1995.
Background: Two instances of severe cracking of crosstubes not manufactured by Aeronautical Accessories Inc. have occurred within Australia. Aeronautical Accessories have issued inspection and modification instructions to prevent similar occurrences with their crosstubes.
This amendment extends applicability to the 206L series and includes the yearly inspection interval limit.
