Tail Boom to Gearbox Attachment 11/88

Applicability: All Augusta Bell AB206A and AB206B equipped with tail rotor hub assembly P/N 206-011-810 (all dash numbers).

 

Requirement: Inspect the tail boom in accordance with Agusta Technical Bulletin 206-172 Rev A. Compliance:               As detailed in the Requirement Document.

Background:  Agusta Technical Bulletin 206-172 reports cracks in service near the gearbox mounting and introduces a mandatory inspection schedule. This revision adds a torque check of the tail gear box fixing nut.
