Applicability: All models.
Requirement: Bell Alert S.B. No. 205-84-21.
Compliance: Unless already accomplished, before 1 March 1985 or prior to the issue of the next Maintenance Release after 31 January 1985, whichever is the later.
Background: Several reports have been received of bolt lugs cracking on elevator spar fittings and horn assemblies. Loss of an elevator in flight could result in airframe or tail rotor damage.
