Alternator System 5/88
Applicability: Beechcraft Skipper 77, Serial No’s WA-1 through WA-312. Requirement: Action in accordance with Beechcraft SB 2201, Rev 1.
Compliance: Within 100 hours’ time in service after 19 May 1988 or at the next scheduled inspection for Maintenance Release issue whichever is the earlier.
Background: There have been reports of the reverse current diode overheating and causing smoke in the cockpit.
Amdt 1 to this AD is issued to reflect the issue of Revision 1 to the referenced Beechcraft SB which introduces amended accomplishment instructions.
