Amdt 1


Nose Baggage Compartment Door 3/89

 

Applicability: All models Queen Air 65, A65 and A65-8200 with S/Nos. L-1, L-2, L-6, LF-7, LF-8 and LC-1 to LC-335.

All models 65-80, 65-A80, 65-A80-8800 and 65-B80 with S/Nos. LD-1 to LD-511. All model 70 with S/Nos LB-1 through LB-35.

Requirement: Action in accordance with Beechcraft SI No 1181 Rev 1. Compliance:  Within 300 hours’ time in service after 31 August 1981.

Background: Fatal accidents have occurred overseas caused by opening of the nose baggage locker door during takeoff. Amendment 1 consolidates Queen Air series 65 and 70 aircraft and references Rev 1 of the applicable Service Instruction.
