Aft and Nose Hinged Baggage Door Latching 3/89

 

Applicability: All models Queen Air 65, A65 and A65-8200 with S/Nos. L-1, L-2, LF-7, LF-8, LC- 1 to LC-335.

 

All models 65-80, 65-A80, 65-A80-8800 and 65-B80 with S/Nos. LD-1 to LD-505. All models 70 with S/Nos LB-1 through LB-35.

Requirement: Action in accordance with Beechcraft SI No 1126 Rev 1. Compliance:  Within 100 hours’ time in service after 31 July 1980.

Background: To provide a more effective bellcrank stop for the hinged baggage door latch mechanism taking into account the possibility of dimensional variations in some original installations. Amendment 2 concerns reference to Rev 1 of SB and consolidates Queen Air series 65 and 70, aircraft.
