Rudder and Elevator Trim Tab Systems 3/89
Applicability: All models Queen Air 65, A65 and A65-8200 with S/Nos. L-1, L-2, L-6, LF-7, LF-8 and LC-1 to LC-335.
All models 65-80, 65-A80, 65-A80-8800 and 65-B80 with S/Nos. LD-1 to LD-511. All models 65-88 with S/Nos. LP-1 to LP-26, LP-28 and LP-30 to LP-47.
All models 70 with S/Nos LB-1 through LB-35.
Requirement: Action in accordance with Beechcraft SI No. 0691-133, -135 Rev. 2.
Compliance: Within 100 hours’ time in service after 30 June 1980 and thereafter at intervals not exceeding 100 hours’ time in service.
Background: Beechcraft SI No. 0691-133, -135 Rev. 2 provides inspection procedures and trim tab freeplay limitations which will indicate when excessive wear has occurred in trim tab linkages or actuators. Amendment 3 consolidates Queen Air series 65 and 70 aircraft.
