SCHEDULE OF AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVES

 


AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE


For the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive (AD) AD/BEECH 300/8 and issues the following AD under subregulation 39.1 (1) of CASR 1998. The AD requires that the action set out in the requirement section (being action that the delegate considers necessary to correct the unsafe condition) be taken in relation to the aircraft or aeronautical product mentioned in the applicability section: (a) in the circumstances mentioned in the requirement section; and (b) in accordance with the instructions set out in the requirement section; and (c) at the time mentioned in the compliance section.


 

Beechcraft 300 Series Aeroplanes

Amdt 1


Wing Attach Fittings, Bolts and Nuts 9/2003

 

 

Applicability: All Beech 300 and B300 series aircraft.

 

Requirement:

1.

Inspect the six outboard wing Inconel tension attach bolts and nuts in accordance with Beechcraft Structural Inspection and Repair Manual 98-39006A4, Section 57-18-00, pages 202 - 211.

 

2.

Replace the six outboard wing Inconel tension attach bolts and nuts.

 

3.

Replace the outboard wing steel shear bolts and nuts at the lower forward attach fitting.

Compliance:

1.

Inspect at intervals not to exceed 5 years component time in service.

 

2.

Replace at intervals not to exceed 15 years or 15,000 hours component time in service, whichever occurs first.

 

3.

Replace at intervals not to exceed 5 years component time in service or at any time they are removed, whichever occurs first.

 

This Amendment becomes effective on 4 September 2003.

 

Background: This AD mandates the life and inspection period of outer wing attach bolts and nuts.

 

This Amendment changes the Compliance part 2, so that it is the same as the replacement life specified in the Airworthiness Limitations section of the Maintenance Manual.

 

The original issue of this Airworthiness Directive became effective on 27 April 1995.
