Beechcraft 19, 23 and 24 Series Aeroplanes

 

AD/BEECH 23/40 Horizontal Stabiliser Aft Centre Spar 9/81

Applicability: Models A23-19, 19A, M19A and B19 with S/Nos. MB-1 through MB-520; Model B19 with S/Nos. MB-521 through MB-905;

Models 23, A23, A23A, B23 and C23 with S/Nos. M-1 through M-1361; Model C23 Sundowner 180 with S/Nos. M-1362 through M-2270; Models A23-24 and A24 with S/Nos. MA-1 through MA-368;

Model A24R with S/Nos. MC-2 through MC-95;

Models A24R, B24R and C24R Sierra 200 with S/Nos. MC-96 through MC-726.

 

Requirement: Inspect the horizontal stabiliser skins and aft centre spar in accordance with the procedures given in Beechcraft S.I. No. 1167.

 

Compliance: For aircraft which have exceeded 500 hours time in service, within 100 hours time in service and thereafter at intervals not exceeding 200 hours time in service until modified.

 

Background: The manufacturer has provided a requirement to inspect and modify the horizontal stabiliser to ensure the safe operation of the aircraft.
