SCHEDULE OF AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVES
Beechcraft 200 (Super King Air) Series Aeroplanes
AD/BEECH 200/61 Main Landing Gear Clevis Assembly 1/99
Applicability: Models and serial numbers listed in Raytheon Aircraft Mandatory Service Bulletin (MSB) 2728.
Requirement: Replace the left and right main landing gear actuator clevis assembly with a clevis assembly of improved design in accordance with the Accomplishment Instructions section in Raytheon Aircraft MSB 2728 or MSB 2728 Revision 1.

Compliance: Unless already accomplished, within 200 hours time in service after 28 January 1999.
This Airworthiness Directive becomes effective on 28 January 1999.
Background: The FAA received reports of main landing gear failure on two of the affected aircraft. The actions specified by this Directive are intended to prevent failure of the actuator clevis assembly in the main landing gear caused by fatigue cracking of the original design part, which could lead to loss of control of the aircraft during landing operations.
