Beechcraft 200 (Super King Air) Series Aeroplanes

Amdt 2
Fuel Boost Pumps 9/86
Applicability: Any of the following aeroplanes equipped with Airborne fuel boost pumps which have serial number date codes 5H through 12H, IJ through 12J, and all Airborne overhauled boost pumps, regardless of serial number having a repair station CO6-43 nameplate which is dated 5-81 through 12-83. (Beech Aircraft Corporation P/N 50- 380177-5, 50-380177-7, 50-389041-9 and 60-389010-15).
Super King Air 200 and B200, serials BB-880 through BB-983, BB-985 through BB- 997, BB-999 through BB-1088, BB-1090, BB-1106, BB-1108 through BB-1110, BB-
1112, BB-1114, BB-1117, BB-1120 and BB-1133.
B200C, serials BL-38 through BL-48, BL-50, BL-51, BL-53 through BL-55, BL-60 through BL-62 and BL-66.
B200CT, serials BN-2 and BN-3.
200T and B200T, serials BT-21 through BT-24.
Also any other Model 200 series aeroplanes which may have installed a replacement fuel boost pump (Beech P/Nos. 50-380177-5, 50-380177-7, 50-389041-9 and 60- 389010-15) which are date coded 1k through 5k or with a repair station nameplate dated 1-83 through 5-83.
Requirement: Beechcraft SB No. 2156.
- Carry out initial inspection in accordance with Step 1 and modify in accordance with Steps 3 and 4 of the Requirement Document.
2. Replace leaking boost pumps in accordance with Step 2 of the Requirement Document.
3. Affected pumps held as spares; inspect in accordance with the Requirement Document.
Compliance: 1. Within 100 hours time in service after 30 September 1986 or before 31 March 1987 whichever occurs first.
2. Before further flight after initial inspection.
3. Before installation in an aircraft after 30 September 1986.
Note: Compliance with previous issues of this Directive does not constitute compliance with this issue and a further certification is required.
Background: This Directive has been amended to reflect the manufacturer’s latest Service Bulletin and place a time limit for modification of fuel boost pumps.
