Beechcraft 1900 Series Aeroplanes

 

AD/BEECH 1900/1 Stabiliser and Fin Moisture Sealing 8/89

Applicability: Model 1900 Serial Nos UA1 to UA3;

 

Model 1900C Serial Nos UB-1 to B-74 and UC-1 to UC-46.

 

Requirement: Action in accordance with Beechcraft B 2254.

 

Compliance: Prior to the next inspection for Maintenance release issue after 10 August 1989 or within 100 hours time in service after 10 August 1989 whichever is later.

 

Background: The Authority is aware of control cable freezing occurring in local 100 and 200 series aircraft. This was addressed by Australian mandatory action.
