Beechcraft 1900 Series Aeroplanes
AD/BEECH 1900/1 Stabiliser and Fin Moisture Sealing 8/89
Applicability: Model 1900 Serial Nos UA1 to UA3;
Model 1900C Serial Nos UB-1 to B-74 and UC-1 to UC-46.
Requirement: Action in accordance with Beechcraft B 2254.
Compliance: Prior to the next inspection for Maintenance release issue after 10 August 1989 or within 100 hours time in service after 10 August 1989 whichever is later.
Background: The Authority is aware of control cable freezing occurring in local 100 and 200 series aircraft. This was addressed by Australian mandatory action. The manufacturer has now indicated that the 1900 series is also susceptible.
