SCHEDULE OF AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVES

Beechcraft 18 Series Aeroplanes

AD/BEECH 18/8 Undercarriage Limit Switch - Inspection NK

Applicability: Model C-18S and AT-11.

Requirement: 1. Raise the aeroplane slowly and evenly on jacks and inspect and if necessary adjust the non-retract limit switch on the port undercarriage leg to ensure that the switch will be operated by the oleo leg when the oleo leg is at a distance of not less than one half inch and not more than three-quarters of an inch from the fully extended position. To ensure smooth extension of the strut, any sticking of the strut should be relieved by gently tapping the fork.

2. If during the above inspection it has been necessary to relieve sticking of the strut, on completion of the inspection and any adjustment, raise the aeroplane again to ensure that the oleo leg will operate the switch without action being taken to relieve sticking of the strut.

3. ANO 105.1.4.3.6.8.

Compliance: (a) At intervals not exceeding 100 hours time in service; and

(b) After any work or adjustments, except normal additions of oil and air, have been performed on the switch or undercarriage.
