Steering Ring Cuff Nut 4/89

 

Requirement: 1. Action in accordance with BAe SB 32-A95.

 

2. Modify in accordance with BAe SB 32-95-70409A.

 

Note: UK CAA AD 014-08-88 refers.

 

Compliance: 1. As detailed in the Requirement Document.

 

2. Prior to 30 June 1989.

 

Background: Insecurity of the steering cuff ring nut has resulted in unscrewing of the ring nut. This allows the steering cuff to drop resulting in a loss of nose wheel steering.
