SCHEDULE OF AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVES
AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
For the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below issues the following Airworthiness Directive (AD) under subregulation 39.1 (1) of CASR 1998. The AD requires that the action set out in the requirement section (being action that the delegate considers necessary to correct the unsafe condition) be taken in relation to the aircraft or aeronautical product mentioned in the applicability section: (a) in the circumstances mentioned in the requirement section; and (b) in accordance with the instructions set out in the requirement section; and (c) at the time mentioned in the compliance section.
British Aerospace BAe 146 Series Aeroplanes
AD/BAe 146/108 Aileron Servo and Trim Tab Drive Brackets 1/2004
Applicability: Model 146-RJ Series aircraft, with constructors numbers up to and including E3263. Requirement: Inspect in accordance with British Aerospace Mandatory Service Bulletin 57-48.

Compliance: Unless already accomplished, before 22 February 2004.
This Airworthiness Directive becomes effective on 22 January 2004.
Background: The manufacturer received a report of corrosion on the bracket surface between the two tab drive flanges in the area of the two attachment bolts. This has resulted in cracking of the flanges at the base in severe corrosion cases.
This Directive is issued following a review of current UK CAA Airworthiness Directives applicable to 146-RJ aircraft.
