Boeing 767 Series Aeroplanes

 

AD/B767/73 Leading Edge Slat Wedge 11/93

Applicability: Model 767 series, with line numbers 1 through 488.

 

Requirement: Action IAW the technical requirements of FAA AD 93-14-19 Amdt 39-8644.

 

Note: Boeing SB 767-57A0039 Revision 1 refers.

 

Compliance: As specified in the Requirement Document with a revised effective date of 14 October 1993.

 

Background:  The FAA has received numerous reports of wedge damage or disbonding, where the damage in two cases resulted in loss of a portion of the slat wedges.
