Applicability: Model 767 series listed in Boeing Alert SB 767-26A0068 Rev. 1.
Requirement: Action in accordance with the technical requirements of FAA AD 90-26-02 Amdt 39- 6829 Part B and Part C.
Note: Boeing SB 767-26A0068 Rev. 1 refers.
Compliance: As specified in the Requirement Document with revised effective date of 21 March 1991.
Background: In response to a report from the manufacturer that fire protection components may have been incorrectly installed during production, this AD requires an inspection of the cargo compartments fire extinguisher orifices for correct part fitment.
