SCHEDULE OF AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVES

Boeing 767 Series Aeroplanes

AD/B767/32 Ram Air Turbine 2/90

Applicability: Model 767 series with line position number 1 through 220.

Requirement: Action in accordance with Boeing Service Bulletin 767-29A0035 Revision 1 or Revision 2.

Note: FAA AD 89-23-02 Amdt 39-6373 refers.

Compliance: At next scheduled “C” check or prior to 28 February 1991 whichever occurs first.

Background: Ram air turbine hydraulic pumps have been damaged by filter screen fragments from the ground checkout module orifice plug. This AD requires inspection and replacement of the ram air turbine ground checkout module and possible replacement of the RAT hydraulic pump. An operable RAT hydraulic pump will ensure that hydraulic power is available should a dual engine loss occur.
