Boeing 767 Series Aeroplanes

 

AD/B767/19 Relocation of Engine Electronic Control Switches 11/88

Applicability: All model 767 series aeroplanes.

 

Requirement: Relocate the engine electronic control switches in accordance with the requirements of Boeing Service Bulletin No. 767-73-0024.

 

Note: FAA AD 88-07-02 refers.

 

Compliance: (1) Aeroplanes incorporating the requirements of FAA AD T87-13-51 - Prior to 31 December 1989.

 

(2) Aeroplanes not incorporating the requirements of FAA AD T87-13-51 - Prior to issue of an Australian Certificate of Airworthiness.

 

Background:  This Directive requires relocation of the engine electronic control switches (EEC) to prevent inadvertent fuel control switch shut off in lieu of EEC switch actuation.
