SCHEDULE OF AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVES
AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
For the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive (AD) AD/B767/140 and issues the following AD under subregulation 39.1 (1) of CAR 1998. The AD requires that the action set out in the requirement section (being action that the delegate considers necessary to correct the unsafe condition) be taken in relation to the aircraft or aeronautical product mentioned in the applicability section: (a) in the circumstances mentioned in the requirement section; and (b) in accordance with the instructions set out in the requirement section; and (c) at the time mentioned in the compliance section.

Applicability: All Model 767 series aircraft.
Requirement: Action in accordance with the technical requirements of FAA AD 2001-04-09 Amdt 39-12128.
Note: Boeing Alert Service Bulletins 767-27A0168 and 767-27A0169 refer.
Compliance: Within 90 days after 12 July 2001 for the initial check, unless already accomplished.
After the initial check, repeat at intervals not to exceed 400 flight hours.
The compliance times remain unchanged for this issue except for the repeat inspection frequency.
This amendment becomes effective on 6 September 2001.
Background: The FAA requires certain actions to determine if an elevator power control actuator is rigged incorrectly due to yielded or failed shear rivets in a bellcrank assembly for the elevator power control actuator, and follow-on actions, if necessary. Continued operation with yielded or failed shear rivets in a bellcrank assembly could result in reduced controllability of the aircraft.
Amendment 1 is issued to correct compliance repeat inspection frequency.
The original issue of this Airworthiness Directive became effective on 12 July 2001.
