AD/B767/14

Amdt 1

Fin Access Door 1/2005

Applicability: All models.

Requirement: Action in accordance with Boeing S.B. 767-52-0042 Rev 02 or later FAA approved revision.

Note: FAA AD 86-19-07 refers.

Compliance: Prior to 30 November 1987.

This Amendment becomes effective on 20 January 2005.

Background: This modification is to ensure that the vertical fin will not fail in the event of rupture of the aft pressure bulkhead.

This amendment is issued to update the referenced service bulletin revision status. All Australian registered aircraft should have already complied with this AD. The amendment is issued so that no confusion will occur in the future about which revision of the service bulletin should have been used to accomplish the modification.

The original issue of this AD became effective on 30 November 1986.
