AD/B767/13  Emergency Door Mounted Escape Slide Mechanisms

Applicability: All models equipped with slide packboard P/No 416T2003-14 or slide/raft packboard P/No 416T2003-15.

 

Requirement: Action in accordance with Boeing S.B. 767-25-A0071 R.1.

 

Note: FAA AD 86-07-10 refers.

 

Compliance: Prior to 30 September 1986.

 

Background: Failure of the door mounted escape slide to inflate automatically during deployment is attributed to binding and corrosion of the release mechanism.
