Applicability: All model 747-400 series with line numbers 1 through 791.
Requirement: Action in accordance with the technical requirements of FAA AD 91-06-17.
Note: Collins Service Bulletin No DCP-7000-31-04 also refers.
Compliance: As specified in the Requirement Document.
Background: Country of Origin AD to prevent failure of either pilots EFIS control panel, with resultant smoke in the flight deck.
