Boeing 747 Series Aeroplanes

AD/B747/36

Amdt 1

Frame to Tension Tie Joint Body Station 760 or 780 2/86

Applicability: All aircraft listed in the Requirement Document. Requirement: Boeing SB 747-53-2088 Revision 2.

Compliance: Prior to achieving 10,000 flight cycles.

Background: Cracking was found on the B747 fatigue test airframe. This AD has been raised because SB 53-2088 has been identified by the B747 Supplemental Structural Inspection Document as having flight safety implications. This amendment reflects the revision status of the S.B.
