AD/B747/108 Girt Bar Floor Brackets 5/92
Applicability: Model 747 series, listed in Being SB 747-25-2754.
Requirement: Replace the girt bar floor brackets with modified brackets, in accordance with Boeing SB 747-25-2754.
Note: FAA AD 92-02-17 Amdt 39-8154 refers.
Compliance: Prior to 2 March 1994.
Background: This Directive requires replacement of the main deck passenger door girt bar floor brackets with modified brackets. Reports were received of girt bar end fittings not fitting properly or fully engaged with the floor brackets.
