Note: FAA AD 93-17-03 Amdt 39-8673 refers.

Compliance: Prior to 7 October 1996.

Background: The FAA received three reports of evacuation slide inflation pressure loss. The pressure loss was found to be due to the failure of the aspirator to close and seal, after the battery test lead was ingested. As a consequence the slide was rendered inoperative.
