SCHEDULE OF AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVES
AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
For the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive (AD) AD/B737/197 Amdt 1 and issues the following AD under subregulation 39.1 (1) of CAR 1998. The AD requires that the action set out in the requirement section (being action that the delegate considers necessary to correct the unsafe condition) be taken in relation to the aircraft or aeronautical product mentioned in the applicability section: (a) in the circumstances mentioned in the requirement section; and (b) in accordance with the instructions set out in the requirement section; and (c) at the time mentioned in the compliance section.

Applicability: All Model 737-100, -200, -200C, -300, -400, -500, -600, -700, -700C, -800, and -900
series aeroplanes.
Requirement: As detailed in the FAA AD 2002-19-51 R1.
Note: FAA AD 2002-19-51 R1 refers.
Compliance: As detailed in FAA AD 2002-19-51 R1 with a revised effective date of 20 September 2002.
This Amendment becomes effective on 23 September 2002.
Background: A batch of Flight Control Modules (FCM) are found to cause blockage of hydraulic fluid resulting in reduced controllability of aeroplanes. This amendment specifies a terminating action for additional inspection/check requirements when the suspect batch of FCMs are installed.
Amendment 1 of this Airworthiness Directive became effective on 18 September 2002.
The original issue of this Airworthiness Directive became effective on 17 September 2002.
