Applicability: Model 727 series listed in Boeing SB 727-53-0072 Revision 5. Requirement: Action in accordance with FAA AD 91-06-06 Amdt 39-6921. Compliance:               As specified in the Requirement Document.

Background: This Directive introduces a new FAA AD which supersedes two existing FAA ADs, that currently require inspection of the fuselage lap joints for cracks, corrosion, and/or delamination, and repair, if necessary; and modifications of certain lap joints.
