Eurocopter AS 355 (Twin Ecureuil) Series Helicopters

 

AD/AS 355/44 Engine Fire Detection 11/93 TX

 

Applicability: AS 355 series helicopters versions E, F, F1, F2 and N.

 

Requirement: Action in accordance with Eurocopter France Telex Service 26.03 (AS 355 versions E, F, F1 and F2 with Allison Engines) or Telex Service 26.04 (AS 355 version N).

 

Note: DGAC AD 93-137-049(B) dated 18 August 1993 refers.

 

Compliance: Within 25 flying hours after 30 August 1993.

 

Background:  The engine fire detection circuits may be incorrectly wired at the detector terminals, this could affect the proper operation of the fire detection system.
