AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
For the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive (AD) AD/AMD 20/22 and issues the following AD under subregulation 39.1 (1) of CAR 1998. The AD requires that the action set out in the requirement section (being action that the delegate considers necessary to correct the unsafe condition) be taken in relation to the aircraft mentioned in the applicability section: (a) in the circumstances mentioned in the requirement section; and (b) in accordance with the instructions set out in the requirement section; and (c) at the time mentioned in the compliance section.

Major Corrosion Inspection 3/2000
Applicability: AMD Fan Jet Falcon Basic, Series D, E, and F and Mystere-Falcon 20-C5, -D5 , -E5 and -F5 aircraft.
Requirement: Perform a Major Corrosion Inspection in accordance with the instructions specified in the manufacturers maintenance manual.
Note: DGAC AD 1990-090-019(B)R2 refers.
Compliance: For:
- aircraft:
- which were between 20 and 24 years old at the last C inspection before the effective date of this directive:
- within 4 years since the last C inspection before the effective date ; or
b. which were either 18 or 19 years old at the C inspection just prior to 30 June 1989,
- within 6 years of the last C inspection before the effective date of this directive; and
2. all other aircraft, before attaining 24 years calendar time in service; and
3. all aircraft following the inspections in paragraphs 1. and 2. above, at intervals not exceeding 12.5 years
This Amendment becomes effective on 23 March 2000.
