Amdt 1


Flight Controls 11/91

 

Applicability: All models with serial numbers listed in the Requirement Document.

 

Requirement: (a) For S/N up to 319 inclusive except 309; action in accordance with AMD SB 524 Rev. 2, and

 

(b) For S/N up to 346 inclusive except 309; action in accordance with AMD SB 522 Rev. 1 or AMD SB 527.

 

Compliance: The compliance date of the previous issue of this Directive was 30 June 1989. This revision is effective from 14 November 1991.

 

Background:  Incidents involving elevator trim runaway are well documented for this model aircraft. A further recent incident has precipitated correspondence with AMD who point out that since incorporation of this subject SB’s these incidents have ceased.
