AMD Fan Jet Falcon (Falcon 20/Mystere-Falcon 200) Series Aeroplanes

 

AD/AMD 20/20 Horizontal Stabiliser Attachment Fittings 2/88

Applicability: Models D, E, F, G and GF.

 

Requirement: (a) Remove the horizontal stabilizer and inspect fittings in accordance with paragraph 2.C(2)(b) of Avions Marcel Dassault SB AMD-BA FJF-A709, or

 

(b) Inspect the stabilizer fittings in-situ, in accordance with a NDI procedure approved by the Secretary.

 

Compliance: Within 200 hours time in service after 30 November 1987.

 

Background: The manufacturer has reported stress corrosion cracking of the stabilizer attachment lugs.
