Wing Anti-Icing Flexible Hoses - Replacement and Modification

Applicability: All models.

 

Requirement: 1. AMD SB No. AMD-BA/F10/0239 (ATA F10/30/020).

 

Note: DGAC AD83-155-18(B) and AMD Falcon 10 Service News Flash 35 refer.

 

2. Pending compliance with the requirement document a placard bearing the words “Flight in Predicted Icing Conditions Prohibited” shall be displayed in the cockpit in a location readily visible to the crew.

 

Compliance: For Para 1: Before 31 January 1984.

 

For Para 2: Before Further Flight after 31 October 1983.

 

Background: This directive has been raised in issue on advice received from the manufacturer that disconnections of wing slat anti-icing hoses continue to occur; AD/AMD 10/16 is therefore cancelled.
