Applicability: All model AA-5 with S/Nos. AA5-0001 to AA5-0209.
Requirement: Thoroughly clean and inspect all rudder, aileron and elevator cables as per Grumman American SB No. 127A.
Note: To adequately inspect the cables it will be necessary to actuate the controls to the full deflection to expose the complete cable pulley contact area for examination.
Compliance: Within 100 hours’ time in service after 29 November 1974 and thereafter at intervals not exceeding 100 hours’ time in service.
