AD/AA-5/6 Fuel Tank Vent Lines - Modification NK

Applicability: All models.

 

Requirement: 1. Replace all PVC plastic hose connectors on the fuel tank venting system with fuel resistant rubber hose connectors.

 

2.    Where practicable, bead the ends of the aluminium alloy vent lines where joined by hose connectors.

 

3.    Ensure that the end distance between adjoining aluminium alloy vent lines in hose connectors is no greater than 1/2".

 

4.    Replace all spring wire type hose clips on the fuel tank venting system with screw type hose clips.
