Pre Certification Requirements - Modification NK
Applicability: All AA-5A models.
Requirement: 1. Install “Open” and “Closed” placards adjacent to the outside canopy handle in positions as indicated below.
Both placards are to be painted white lettering, 6mm in height, on a black background.
2. Install a placard in the cabin specifying that smoking is prohibited during Take-off, Landing or Fuelling Operations.
Compliance: Unless already accomplished, within 100 hours’ time in service after 31 October 1979 for those aircraft on the Australian Register. Before C of A for other aircraft.
