Gulfstream (Grumman American/ American Aviation) AA-1 Series Aeroplanes

 

AD/AA-1/1A Control Cables and Pulleys - Inspection NK

Applicability: All models.

 

Requirement: Thoroughly clean and inspect all rudder, aileron and elevator control pulleys and cables where the cables pass under the pulley grouping forward of the wing centre spar.

 

Note: To adequately inspect the cable it will be necessary to actuate the controls to the full deflection to expose the complete cable pulley contact area for examination.

 

Compliance: Within 100 hours time in service after 25 February 1972 and thereafter at intervals not exceeding 100 hours’ time in service.
