Applicability: All models.
Requirement: 1. Replace all PVC plastic hose connectors on the fuel tank venting system, and the fuel contents gauge system with fuel resistant rubber hose connectors.
2. Where practicable, bead the ends of the aluminium alloy vent lines where joined by the nose connectors.
3. Where hose connectors are used between adjoining aluminium alloy vent lines ensure that the end distance between the lines is no greater than 1/2".
4. Replace all spring wire type hose clips on the fuel tank venting system and the fuel contents gauge system with screw type hose clips.
Compliance: Within 100 hours time in service after 31 August 1973.
