SCHEDULE OF AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVES
AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
For the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive (AD) AD/A320/74 and issues the following AD under subregulation 39.1 (1) of CAR 1998. The AD requires that the action set out in the requirement section (being action that the delegate considers necessary to correct the unsafe condition) be taken in relation to the aircraft or aeronautical product mentioned in the applicability section: (a) in the circumstances mentioned in the requirement section; and (b) in accordance with the instructions set out in the requirement section; and (c) at the time mentioned in the compliance section.

Gusset Frame Attachment 13/2002
Applicability: All Model A320-111, -211, and -231 aircraft, without Airbus Modification 21778 incorporated in production or Airbus Service Bulletin A320-53-1072 incorporated in- service.
Requirement: Action in accordance with the requirements of DGAC AD 1996-234-087(B) R1.
Note: Incorporation of Airbus Service Bulletin A320-53-1072 is terminating action for the requirements of this Directive.

Compliance: As specified in the Requirement document.
This Amendment becomes effective on 26 December 2002.
Background: Fatigue tests have revealed cracks on the inner flange of door frame 66 at the hole of the gusset attachment of stringers P18 and P20.
Amendment 1 is issued in response to a revision of the related DGAC AD which introduces reference to Service Bulletin A320-53-1071 Revision 1, which specifies repair solutions to crack findings.
