Amdt 2
Passenger Doors 1 and 4 11/95
Applicability: All models A320 that had Modification 22422 incorporated on the production line, and do not have Modification 24497 or SB A320-52-1064 incorporated.
Requirement: 1. Action in accordance with the requirements of Airbus Industrie Telex A320/AOT 52-07, or Airbus Industrie SB A320-52-1066.
2. Install shouldered bushes in accordance with the requirements of Airbus Industrie SB A320-52-1064.
Note: DGAC AD 95-004-062(B)R1 refers.
Compliance: 1. Within 450 hours’ time in service after 25 January 1995, thereafter, and until modified, at intervals specified in the Requirement Documents.
2. Prior to 30 April 1996.
The Compliance remains unchanged for Amendment 2.
Background: This Directive is issued to prevent jamming of passenger doors 1 and 4 due to bush migration in the opening mechanism. Amendment 1 includes an alternative Requirement Document.
Amendment 2 clarifies the Applicability statement to exclude aircraft modified in accordance with AD/A320/36 Amdt. 2.
