SCHEDULE OF AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVES

 


AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE


On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive (AD) AD/A320/147 and issues the following AD under subregulation 39.1 (1) of CASR 1998. The AD requires that the action set out in the requirement section (being action that the delegate considers necessary to correct the unsafe condition) be taken in relation to the aircraft or aeronautical product mentioned in the applicability section: (a) in the circumstances mentioned in the requirement section; and (b) in accordance with the instructions set out in the requirement section; and (c) at the time mentioned in the compliance section.

Applicability: All Model A319, A320, and A321 aircraft.

 

Requirement: Action in accordance with the requirements of DGAC AD F-2004-032.

 

Note: Airbus A318/A319/A320/A321 MPD Section 9-1 Revision 05, dated 24 April 2002, and MPD Section 9-1 Revision 06, dated 13 June 2003, refer.

 

Compliance: As specified in the Requirement document, with a revised effective date of 30 June 2004.

 

This Amendment becomes effective on 30 June 2004.

 

Background: The DGAC requires compliance with new certification requirements introduced by Revision 5 of subsection 9-1 of the referenced MPD temporary revision.

 

Amendment 1 is issued in response to a new DGAC AD, which was prompted by the issue of Revision 06 of MPD section 9-1 which introduces some new life-limited items and decreases the values of some limits already listed.

 

The original issue of this Airworthiness Directive became effective on 23 January 2003.
