SCHEDULE OF AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVES
Airbus Industrie A319, A320 and A321 Series Aeroplanes
AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
For the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below issues the following Airworthiness Directive (AD) under subregulation 39.1 (1) of CAR 1998. The AD requires that the action set out in the requirement section (being action that the delegate considers necessary to correct the unsafe condition) be taken in relation to the aircraft or aeronautical product mentioned in the applicability section: (a) in the circumstances mentioned in the requirement section; and (b) in accordance with the instructions set out in the requirement section; and (c) at the time mentioned in the compliance section.
AD/A320/108 Flight Management and Guidance Computer 7/2000
Applicability: Model A319, A320 and A321 series aeroplanes in the following configurations and without Airbus Industrie modification 26799, 26968, 26716, 27831 or without Airbus Industrie Service Bulletin (SB) A320-22-1063 or A320-22-1064 orA320-22-1065 or A320-22-1067 Revision 1 or A320-22-1068 or A320-22-1069:
A319/321 with modification 25469 (or SB A320-22-1054), A319/320/321 with modification 26093,
A320 with either modification 24065 (or SB A320-22-1040) or modification 24067 (or SB A320-22-1039),
A320 with either modification 25314 (or SB A320-22-1051) or modification 25315 (or SB A320-22-1050),
A320/321 with either modification 24064 (or SB A320-22-1034) or modification 24066 (or SB A320-22-1029),
A320/321 with either modification 25199 (or SB A320-22-1045) or modification 25200 (or SB A320-22-1046),
A320/321 with either modification 25240 (or SB A320-22-1033) or modification 25274 (or SB A320-22-1056),
A320/321 with modification 26243, or A319/320 with modification 26717.

SCHEDULE OF AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVES
Requirement: 1. If not previously accomplished, insert Temporary Revision TR 4.03.00/02 into the Aircraft Flight Manual (AFM).
2. Depending on the current Flight Management and Guidance Commuter (FMGC) configuration, install new FMGCs in accordance with the applicable Airbus Industrie SBs listed below:
A320-22-1063, A320-22-1064, A320-22-1065,
A320-22-1067 Revision 1, A320-22-1068, or
A320-22-1069.
Incorporation of either SB A320-22-1074 in place or SB A320-22-1064 or SB A320- 22-1075 in place of SB A320-22-1068 is considered an acceptable alternate means of compliance with this Requirement. AFM TR 4.03.00/02 may be removed following compliance with this Requirement.
Note: DGAC AD 1999-411-140(B)R1 refers.
Compliance: For Requirement 1 - Before 20 July 2000.
For Requirement 2 - Before 30 June 2001.
This Airworthiness Directive becomes effective on 13 July 2000.
Background: DGAC AD 1997-153-100(B) R1 required the incorporation of TR 4.03.00/02 into the AFM to provide additional guidance for aircrew because of a FMGC software anomaly. This Directive requires that the FMGCs be replaced which will allow the AFM TR to be removed.
