Acts of Parliament assented to – Act Nos 91 to 94 of 2024
It is hereby notified, for general information, that Her Excellency the Governor-General, in the name of His Majesty, assented on 24 October 2024 to the undermentioned Acts passed by the Senate and the House of Representatives in the Parliament assembled, viz.:
No. 91 of 2024—An Act to regulate activities relating to conventionally-armed, nuclear-powered submarines to ensure the nuclear safety of those activities, and for related purposes. (Australian Naval Nuclear Power Safety Act 2024).
No. 92 of 2024—An Act to deal with transitional matters relating to the enactment of the Australian Naval Nuclear Power Safety Act 2024, and for related purposes. (Australian Naval Nuclear Power Safety (Transitional Provisions) Act 2024).
No. 93 of 2024—An Act to amend legislation relating to the criminal law, law enforcement and telecommunications, and for related purposes. (Crimes and Other Legislation Amendment (Omnibus No. 1) Act 2024).
No. 94 of 2024—An Act to amend the Customs Tariff Act 1995, and for related purposes. (Customs Tariff Amendment (Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership Expansion) Act 2024).
